Organizational Structure
Much consideration has been put into the new representation structure of the Student Assembly. Through research, we have found that successful student governance organizations have about twenty-five students. After working through the numbers, we found that apportioning one Delegate per 125 students for each on-campus area worked best (rounded to the nearest 125). For example, since the CNU Apartments house 353 students they will receive 3 Delegates since 353 rounded to the nearest 125 is 375 and 375/125 = 3.
We have representation of the student body in eight areas for representation (as seen below). The purpose of separating the student body into these eight areas is not to disunite the student body, but to ensure that we have input from every point of view on campus.
